Do you use one? If so, which?

I'm looking for a way to streamline all my internet reading.

I take it you're not a Google Reader refugee then? Things will never be the same

If you don't have many feeds, you may try Feedly or Newsblur. I have a stupid amount of feeds, lately I'm trying G2Reader, INOreader, and Kouio. Kouio being the front runner so far, with a backup local TT-RSS instance.

I've never used RSS. Almost zero experience and therefore zero feeds.

What should I be looking for?

Kouio looks like it's going to be $5 a month after beta ends. Is it worth that?

Since you don't have a lot of feeds to manage, just find something that has a view/layout that you like to read content in. Some people don't care for the 'newspaper' or 'media' layouts that some readers force you into, others are used to it.

Native app vs. Web app, mobile support for whatever devices you have, searching, tagging, API, etc are other differentiators but don't matter as much until you have a lot of content to deal with.

I'm using the free beta Kouio because I have too many feeds for free tier access most other places, I still don't know if the proposed $5/mo will be worth it for me. Unless you really like Kouio you can likely find something free tier that you like to read in.

I use and love Feedly.  Most of my reading is done via their iPhone app, but it has been perfect for my needs so far.

I am a Google Reader refugee.   Best I liked so far is the Digg Reader; android app and web version.

I use the Brief plugin for firefox. Pretty basic system.
