[ARCHIVED THREAD] - RSS feeds missing posts

The RSS feeds seem to be randomly leaving out items. I looked and it doesn't appear to have a pattern about what it leaves out. I thought maybe special characters etc. caused them to be left out but I'm not sure.

The RSS feed is the newest discussions, not the ones with the most recent posts and thus will vary from the site's list.

ok cool. so basically it's a list of first posts. a response will not bump it back up correct?

Not really, the thing is most people are interested in what's new for an RSS feed, especially those watching the EE!
