I noticed you can get a M1Garand from cmp for 450 bucks, But are they worth it?

Anything less than a Service Grade mail-order is a bit of a gamble. You could get a nice rifle, but more than likely you'll get one that exactly meets the criteria for the grade. For Rack Grades, that is a functional rifle with a very well-worn barrel and very likely a badly battered stock.
If you're willing to accept that, then by all means order one. Just don't be disappointed if it's not a stunner. -Mark |
