[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Rail System ?

I am looking for a short 2 to 3 inch rail that I can install on a beater M-14 stock so I can install a bi-pod.

Any sources?

Why not just install a sling mount and use a harris bipod?

I thought about that too. Do you have a source for a sling mount. I looked on Brownells and couldn't find what I wanted.

Go to Wal-Mart or a sporting goods store. Buy the sling mount stud, install takes about 5 minutes or less, add harris bipod.
