I'm trying to help a potential new AR15 owner out on a contractor forum, he can trade a roof repair for a AR15 but the liberals on that site is trying to scare him away from the trade.

Is ftf sales ok in NC? And does anybody have a link to NC gun laws?  Thanks

I posted this in the hometown forum but that doesn't get a lot of traffic.

FTF is fine in NC provided both parties are residents.

yes completely legal I am on the road right now so don't have the gun law links available but it is completely legal.  anyone who says otherwise is either a pathological liar or a liberal turd possibly both

Perfectly legal in this state to do face to face sales.  It is suggested to get full bill of sale and swap pertinents but beyond that there are no special requirements.

As posted before, FTF is legal here. Look at the Hometown forum for more info.

As stated, they are good to go. Bill of sale if you want to, but not needed.

THIS!!!!!!

For a long gun, BOTH seller and buyer MUST be NC residents! Otherwise, transfer via registered FFL dealer!

Strongly suggest verification of ID/drivers license to prove NC residency and bill of sale.
