Not sure if I (or anyone) has posted these before.  This link is of a guy named Shaun Lunt who flew all over Alaska and photographed it all.  Unfortunately, he was killed in a plane crash, up there, trying to get a closer look at some whales.  RIP Mr. Lunt

This is a guy who flies a DC-6 up in AK...amazing photographer!

2A373,

All those last shots need to be perfect is an Eagle in that formation.

Really like the F4.  First time I saw them they were in Navy Blue Angels colors.

Thanks for posting. I did my FRS training (VP-31) there a Moffet, hanger one. Always in Awe of what a magnificent structure it was. Look up when you came in and actually get dizzy. And being from Oregon and working in logging growing up, always was in awe of the size of the timbers, historic by today's standards. One day in late November when I was stationed there, actually had misty rain in the hanger. It was known to actual devop weather inside at times.

Re: 2A373

Those are really great Phantom pics, others aren't too shabby either! First F-4 I ever saw was a transient that stopped by our little NAS at Willow Grove, Pa. early '60's. We were impressed! We were still flying FJ-4B's and they were getting a little long in the tooth! We got F8U's to replace them a couple of years later.

Not so random:

With more randomness applied:

Yes, here's a link to the largest version of the photo I have posted.  Unfortunately, due to a few thieves stealing photos, I no longer post the highest resolution versions of this or other photos.

The aircraft photographed is an Embraer Legacy 600 (the corporate version of the ERJ-135) operated by Denver Jet (reg. N451DJ).
