About a month ago, I took a cheapie rem 700 adl, put a new stock on (a used bdl stock) and a 10 round detach mag conversion.

Shot it today, and it was dead on bullseye.  Exactly where it was with the old stock.  I would have thought I would have to rezero.

You didn't take the scope loose from the barrel did you?  As long as you didn't jar it, it should still be in line with the bore.

No, I didn't.  I knew that connection was solid.  But with all the talk about having free floating barrels (this was/is not), and glass bedding the receiver, etc.  I would have expected a point of impact shift.
