Been trying to work up the drive to get off the Net and breeze through this Italia/General Nobile book I brought with me to work...........................
.....................and then thinking of pulling an Eric Ambler book off the shelves, one I've had FOREVER, since I was a child, when I get home. All these books................so much Internet. ______________________________________________________ ("Do you read?"––message sent to the inside of Nicholas's glasses "No, not much, I don't have the time,"––Nicholas making a joke, (w,stte), Mission: Impossible "Deadly Harvest") |

What is this twitter that people talk so much about, that seems to be all the rage? ________________________________________________________________________ (The Doctor on introducing K-9 to a Brit, "Oh, they are all the rage in Trenton, New Jersey!", (w,stte), Dr. Who "The Stones of Blood") |

In a world where everyone seems to have smart phones, I get along fine with a Razor. My older brother was teasing me, I think, saying I would have a smartphone next year but to that, I said "Why?" I spend 8 hours a day during the work week at something like this: http://www.avtec.com/var/avtec/storage/images/products/operations_centers/network_operations_center/9105-3-eng-US/network_operations_center.jpg and then I would want to go home and have the computer world on a small screen in my hand? That's nuts! No, thank you, I talk on my phone, I type on my keyboard..................... ......................and I read these archaic things known as "books". _____________________________________________________________________ ("If you say so, Mr. Bond."––-Scaramanga, (w,stte), "TMWTGG") See, you've already got the hang of it. But if memory serves, there's a character limit on Twitter, so you'd have to cut the rambling missive down to an equally pointless blurb. |
