| I was sitting on the side of my house this morning taking in the cool morning. FedEx rolls up, the guy takes two steps onto my driveway and then slides the box up to my door. Does not even bother to ring the bell and takes off. I sure he is a professional bowler From his Technique. |

I love that gif. FUCK FedEx |

Quoted: At least he didn't do what UPS does to me - leaves the box sitting in the rain on my mailbox (brick mailbox) 35 yards downhill from my house. They usually drive by my first, open (and closer) gate, turn the corner and leave the package on top of my furthest gate; while its raining. |

Mine likes to deliver my stuff to neighbors or not deliver it at all and claim no one was home when he rang the doorbell when he never even came near my driveway. UPS delivered a complete upper of mine to my neighbor. Neither my neighbor nor I was amused by this. |

Throwing a box down the driveway for that tactical look? I need you to advise me on how to make my firearms look tacticool Drag them down the driveway a few times. Gives them a good honest "used in battle" sort of look. Show me pictures? |

UPS delivered a complete upper of mine to my neighbor. Neither my neighbor nor I was amused by this. UPS left a handgun on my doorstep, unattended, with no signature. It was shipped overnight, signature required, as is required by ATF. I got home from work, opened it and figured no harm, no foul, but it could easily have turned out differently. |

As a former delivery driver, ALL drivers slide packages whenever it is possible to do so without damaging the package. Are we supposed to? Nope. But when you're over loaded and under paid with 135 stops to make, every second counts. Screw FedEx. I worked there for 6 months and I hated being a part of their organization, and I left as soon as I found a real job.
ETA: Additionally, I rarely rang the door bell unless I needed a signature. We were not required to. Our only responsibility was to get the package to the front door. If it was something that looked expensive, I would tuck it behind a potted plant, ring the bell and walk away. If you WANT the driver to ring the bell, either request a signature or leave a note on your door and hope the driver sees it. If I saw a note I would do my best to follow the customers request. |

The florist was very concerned that a "machine gun" was delivered to her in the mail. |

At least it was not an upper just a BCG. |

UPS Guy didn't even attempt delivery and took it to the Office of my Apartment. Which isn't a big deal, but, I was sitting in my apartment waiting and the office is a fair distance away since I live in an Outlying building. UPS guy did you a favor, srsly |

FedEx has contract drivers. (I used to be one and lost my ass in 9 months)
For Ground and Home Delivery, those guys have to buy their trucks, fuel, uniforms, etc. You are paid (poorly) for the route (varies) and how many packages you deliver (very little). They have to move and move fast. FedEx would not approve of customer service because it might cost them a few bucks more, so the contractors are forced to work like that.....or starve. |

Twice I ordered frozen rodents for my snakes and twice they claimed that no one was home, my wife was home all friggin day and never left both days. |

Yeah, I hate it when the site I order from only ships through Fed Ex. They always leave my boxes out in the rain, when I clearly have a sign up that says to put package on my front porch. |

We have contract guys for FedEx ground service here. FedEx is not doing themselves any favors by going this route. The clowns here do nothing but give FedEx a bad reputation. The geniuses haven't even figured out that a set of chains for their 2wd box van might be good investment. |
| You guys must have some real shitty folks on those trucks. My FedEx and UPS drivers both will BACK all the way down my rather long driveway (since it's hard to turn a large truck around) and they always leave everything on my covered front deck/porch and if I've requested it they either ring the bell/get signature. USPS puts our regular mail in the box at the road and if it's a package he brings it up to the house. |

I tried to do it right everyday, but even at 100%, could not make a go of it. Only then did I find out that FedEx did the bait and switch scam with me as they did 9 other contractors in 2.5 years on that route. I lasted the longest and lost 26k. |

fedex and ups are pretty good to us at work and at home.
our usps lady? twice she left packages on the bumper of my truck. not a huge deal considering I was home and the dog alerted me to her antics. her personal best was hitting my mailbox and knocking it down and then driving off as if it didnt happen, in front of me .
dont have the same lady. either they fired her or moved her to another route |
