So, I understand Rec 2 has been out for a while. Is a subtitled version available yet? Has anyone seen it?
I REALLY hope it's as awesome as the original was. |

Rue Morgue is reporting it was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.According to them it blew Romero's Survival of the Dead out of the water. The article didn't mention when it would be available in the US. Didn't they also mention that it actually surpassed the original? |

Ok I have not herd of rec 2 so I looked it up and read the plot, it sounds a lot like quarantine so I looked up rec (2007) and it is quarantine ( mexacain version/ American remake) but I love a good zombie flim. Is rec worth getting or just rec 2.
Rec was filmed in SPAIN, not Mexico, and Quarantine is a crappy remake of Rec. Rec is superior to Quarantine by far. |

I'd say it was a largely unnecessary feature that didn't live up to the original content. Rec had a better atmosphere and the end was scarier. Quarantine was merely a (nearly) scene by scene cover that did a semi-decent job, but was not quite up to par to the original. |
