While I've already inquired with the bank (JPMorgan Chase) that financed my home, I'd like to investigate other possibilities. To whom might I go for a loan on a rural property of 20-30 acres with a small house?

We know a guy, right here on ARFCOM, who will give you $10,000 if you pay him $120 per month and agree to return the principal in February 2013.
We think he's done it at least once.

Go to a local bank, see what they can do. By local I mean owned by an old guy that lives in that town. He'll be the richest guy in town. And old.

I just refinanced my home with Wells Fargo, I secured and locked into a 3.0 APR 15 year loan yesterday.
