ar-jedi has recommended these three books several times in a number of threads, so I decided to bite the bullet and buy them. Total price: ~$44 from Amazon (free shipping if you're a Prime member).
I started on All About Asset Allocation several days ago and it has been (mostly) enjoyable so far. The first few pages can be a bit repetitive (pounding "There's no easy way to do this" into your head  ) but other than that it has been good.
