What does it take for the army (or whatever) to send a person to med school? I'm 31, three years prior enlisted service, bachelor's from University of Texas (not premed though). What about law school?

I'll give you a bump but I just wanted to add most of the MD's in the military seemed to become Dr. the civilian route and then receive direct commissions.

IIRC you can do ROTC while in med school, I have some relatives who did it this way.
