I was not overly impressed for the prices they charge. What, in your best estimate, would a trip to Red Robin cost on average, per person? Here, I would say $10/person for meal + beverage. Considering a trip to McDonalds is about $1-2 less, I don't see it as being "over priced" ? Maybe its more in other regions? |

Great for a chain. Service is probably the best around at our local RR and you can get your lunch in an hour. Not a place you want to eat every day, maybe once every three months cuz the best food they serve is mega unhealthy.
If you have a local place known for awesome burgers, it is probably better. If not, and you go to chains because you work in an office...You probably won't feel too let down by them. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

OP: they're alright, but you're not missing anything. I'm sure there are places just like it in your area. |

Problem is Applebees food quality is trash. When they (Applebees) first opened in our town, it was great... fast-forward 2 years and it sucks... Closest RR to me is like 30min away, but for a good burger, at a chain restaraunt, its not bad... Local places here in town are better, but they're only one restaraunt, so if you aren't in town you're SOL. |

Most of their burgers are $9 - $10. Soft drinks are $2.50, add in tax and tip, and you're not getting out of there for less than $15. Fuddrucker's 1/2 pound burger, fries, and a drink combo is $9 or so, no tip since you pick it up from the counter, and all the toppings you'd want to put on it. Plus, you can get the burger medium rare. First and only time I've been to Red Robin, I asked for my burger medium rare. They brought it out well done. I asked for another one, same thing. Third time? Medium-well. The manager that brought my burger said they can't cook it less than medium. I wonder why they let me order it medium-rare TWICE before someone figured out they can't cook it like that. My family was all done with their meal by the time my third one arrived. |

We only have the one in our area. Took a family of four and spent about 60 bucks. I was just not impressed with the quality of the food. I may give them another shot and see if it was a fluke. |
| Man, no wonder you dont like RR. Here its about $7-8/burger (per menu price) and about $2 for drink. I dont include tip because some people tip real high, some dont tip at all... that is discretionary. Ive been to several in WA/OR and they have all been good. Theres better burgers out there, but I think for a sit-down restaratunt chain they are good. |

. it would have taken 4-5 of those to equal a Happy Meal burger.
