it looks similiar to the KLMK camoflage one piece coverall? my Soviet camoflage book, says this was one of the last one piece coveralls to be fielded, it was designed to be worn over regular field uniforms and served as both summer and winter coveralls, the non detachable hood fits over m40 steel hemets Kamuflirovannyi letyi maskirovchnyi kombinezon the pattern resembles the leaves of zebra palnts. The Russian slang term for this uniform means "sun-ray" pattern, denoting it's similiarity to sunlight comming through a foreest canopy. the reverse side of the uniform is designed for a snowy or sandy setting. |
