I have a Maytag side by side frig that came with the house I bought 4 years ago. I think it was relatively new when I moved in. It's been a champ until now. The freezer side is working fine but the frig side won't get very cold. It seemed to happen over night.

The door was closed
I vaccumed the coils as best I could (under frig). Yes it desparately need cleaning
I vaccumed the compressor fan area.
I've verified that nothing in the fridge is impeding airflow.
The lowest crisper drawer is ok but the main portion of the fridge is marginal

Any ideas?

I just got a perfectly good used frige with an icemaker for $50 out of a buddys company breakroom.

It keeps my drinks and bacon cool and my frozen stuff and bacon frozen.

Fifty Bucks

I think I will round up another and put in the the shop for my drunkard buddies when they come over to have me do tire change on their bikes.

Sounds like the defrost control is TU. Repair Clinic is your friend if you own a Jenn-Air or Maytag.
