MY MESSAGE: I am writing you in regards to the recent attacks on the Second Amendment by the media and unfortunately by several elected members of Congress. I urge you to do everything in your power to stop any changes to current laws or any new bills that infringe on our rights as law-abiding firearms owners. I do not support any changes and will no longer support any candidate that takes part in passing new legislation of Second Amendment infringement. I like many other Kentuckians are abhorred by the recent acts of violence against innocent Americans. However, I do not feel that law-abiding citizens should be held liable for these heinous acts. I would be very interested in hearing from you regarding your stance on the numerous acts of legislation that were introduced today that blatantly attack our rights as legal firearms owners. Thank you for your service to the residents Kentucky and to the United States. Respectfully, The reply almost implies that I am not in his district (positive I posted the correct address for my home). Anyone else received a similar initial generic? Sent almost the same message to Sen. McConnell but have not heard back. My message to Sen. Rand Paul was quite different. |
