Resignations so far: Agriculture Secretary Ann Veneman - - -  Education Secretary Rod Paige - - - Good. Now eliminate the Dept. Of Education like you said ya'll would back in '94! Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham - - - Good. Now get someone who'll push hard to get us into ANWR and get us OFF the Saudi teets. Attorney General John Ashcroft - - - Hmm. Mixed feelings on this one. Depends on who replaces him. Secretary Of State Colin Powell - - - Good. He was too timid. Funny how it's gonna take putting Condi Rice in charge to get someone with balls in that job! Homeland Security Chief Tom Ridge - - - Good. Enough of the color-coded warnings - protect the Homeland starting with SECURING OUR BORDERS!!! Now I'm hoping Norman Mineta  will be the next to go. |

Necessary in order for him to be appointed to the Associate Justice of the Supreme Court vacency that will open when Renquest retires and Clarence Thomas is moved to Chief Justice. | I can only speak with some authority re: the Colin Powell issue. He's had his turn in the barrel with prostate cancer. Maybe he would rather live his life without everyone beating the crap out of him every day. Looking your own mortality in the face gives you a new perspective. |
The problem is that our President doesn't support this. He long ago surrendered the border, and admitted as much on TV. Republicans are too concerned about losing the Latino vote, and you had better believe that the Dems would do everything in their power to push the issue if given the oppertunity. -Troy |
