Just recently picked up a PS3. Heard a ton about how great Resistance was supposed to be a year ago. Picked it up today, used. Is it as good as the hype was early on? Also got Motorstorm, used. I played a demo and it looked excellent. |

I really liked Resistance and am looking forward to Resistance 2. Especially since it will incorporate Co-op campaign. RFOM was the first game I ever played on a PS3 and the first game I bought when I got mine. That's what I look for an enjoy in the new games. Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 & 2 is a blast to play with friends. |

It's good for a 2006 game, lots of cool guns and pretty good, fast paced gameplay. Graphics and story are kind of meh, but overall it's a good game. Multiplayer is pretty good too. Motorstorm is alright - I don't think it has enough variety...luckily Motorstorm 2 comes out in a couple of months and it's shaping up to be much better than the first one (which is impressive considering the first one was no slouch). You might also want to check out Metal Gear Solid 4 and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and of course - Call of Duty 4 (if you haven't already played it by now). |
I just stated playing through Uncharted again. Great game too. Kind of fun seeing what the trophies look like. Pretty cool, works about like the 360 achievement thing. |
