OK, I'm 5 months away from becoming a Registered X-Ray Technologist, and I'm wanting to go for one more year and go into Nuc Med. I am applying for one of only 6 slots available at a local school - usually there are about 150+ applicants. One of the requirements is a paper on why I want to do this, as well as listing my activities, hobbies, and interests. Any advice on what to put down regarding the hobbies, activities, and interests? Doesn't matter if it is true or not - once I'm in, I'm in - so since I don't have much experience with this second-guessing psycho-bullshit that this obviously is for, what would you put down? |

Grey, I assume that the activities, hobbies, interests paper is a way to measure your ability to write and communicate. I doubt it has much to do with the actual activities. Unless, of course, you write that you work with sick kids in your spare time because you cannot bear human suffering in the world type BS. G23c |

Quite honestly, if I really wrote what my activities, hobbies, and interests were: For the past 1.5 years I've been working my ass off in a job I don't really like so I can pay the bills. I've been going to school and spending all my spare time doing bullshit assignments and studying. I've been trying to keep the wife happy with what miniscule time I have to myself. If she isn't in the mood I spend time downloading porn and masturbating. My hobbies include surfing ar15.com and discussing ways to torture and kill terrorists. I also spend a lot of time badmouthing the muslim religion and women in general. I like guns . . . LOTS and LOTS of guns, and I'd love to have a machine gun, a silencer, and nightvision goggles. My interests are naked women, guns, ridding the world of Islam, naked women, guns, and making lots of money doing nothing. But I don't think that would go over too well, eh? |
![]() You get an A+ for honesty, but seriously... you might want to leave that part out. ![]() Love, napalm (aspiring RT) |
