If you're listing your employment from the most recent to oldest which comes first? Part-time self-employment started 4 years ago and are still doing today or a job started 3 years ago and ended a year ago?

Which one applies to the job you are applying for?

I would choose the part time job, since you are still doing that.

I'd start with the P/T.

Ok, here's another question. Is there any way to not shoot myself in the foot when it comes to salary history? My last W2 salary appears to have been about 20k(or more) less than what similar jobs are offering for the same work. However in my case I was not orginial hired to do that job. Over time it was added to my stack of things to do.

I just plain wouldn't list previous salaries on your resume. It's not the place for it.
