Resurfaced 3,300-year-old Egyptian document hints at biblical giants being real Historians are scratching their heads at a resurfaced Egyptian scroll held by the British Museum that might support the claim that biblical giants were, in fact, real. Genesis chapter 6 of the Bible is about God’s response to the widespread human “wickedness” and corruptness, which was supposedly caused by Nephilim, powerful beings that were the sons of “fallen angels” and human women. | Are you surprised? The Dead Sea Scrolls discusses the Nephillim. Although they were generally only 6-8' tall unlike the absurd modern depictions. The average height for a Biblical Jew or Egyptian was between 5' and 5.6" tall, so a 6' to 8' person would be a giant. |

Anybody that was "educated" in those days took advantage of those who were not. Just because something is passed down in oral history doesn't mean it is BS. Lots of our current understanding of history, even the "Institutional History" cribbed heavily from Oral Histories. The same oral histories give us details of a flood in the past, worldwide. Same about Giants and all the cultures also have giant form constructions with 50 ton blocks hundreds of miles from the nearest source, sometimes up and down extremely rugged terrain (Chichen Itza), or pentagonal block logs in the middle of the pacific making a city out into the ocean. Nearly all of the oral histories match when it comes to floods, giants, ice, and things that came and took people away (not mysteriously missing after going hunting, but somebody was there and a few minutes later they weren't. Imagine something like walking into thin air maybe, no solid documentation but lots of hints as to 'taken' which could be anything from people taking unwanted kids for rituals and attempts at lengthening lifetimes or eaten by animals, they weren't all knowing as we seem to think we are today but they weren't entirely ignorant, either. These were finally recorded once written history started and as civilizations imported/discovered writing and did a mind dump of their oral histories, things still went along as normal. It wasn't until the past 50 years that all the various oral histories have been completely translated and computer versions saved, it was at that point that these rare oral histories from thousands of years ago have more in common than not, even from opposite sides of the world and entirely different languages and practices, like Mongolia vs South America differences in beliefs of how things work. |
