WOW. There wasn't a lot of hype or publicity behind this movie, but it was very surprising. It is about a former pro boxer living on the streets, and is then re-discovered by a desperate sports writer, starving for a good story. Samuel L. Jackson brings an Oscar worthy performance, in what I believe to be his best role to date. If you plan on watching this movie, do NOT read up on anything about it, as most reviews give away the twist.  Watch it. I give it  out of |
