Just a heads up for any retiring or past retired E8s. If you ever served a successful tour as a 1SG, your retirement rank by regulation is supposed to be 1SG, even if you were a MSG at the time of retirement. My orders said MSG and I called HRC and scholled them on the regulation. I just got my ammended orders last week. Yeah, I know, it's just semantics but it makes a difference to me and may make a difference to a future employer. |
