| Why did the white people lose, and would the US be any different if it happened here? |

Rhodesia made a number of mistakes. The importation and settlement of cheap labor was the biggest. South Africa made the same mistake. Both gained their industrial wealth off cheap labor that they treated as second class citizens. They allowed them to come in at large numbers and furthermore provided a stable environment for them to raise families and have tons of kids.
The Combloc Nations supported two terrorist groups. The Soviets and Warsaw Pact backed one and the OFF backed the other. The United State pushed de-colonization for a few reasons. 1. We wanted new foreign markets for our goods and wanted to collapse the British Economic Sphere and Market. 2. The Soviet infiltration of our Government and State Department and their lackies backed it. 3. The U.N. backed it. 4. The Leftists and Socialists backed it across the world backed it. 5. Political Correctness. The end came under PM Thatcher. A leader that sold out UK Citizens to the PRC in HK because she didn't have a spine to defend a Crown Colony. The ChiComs threatened invasion and she bowed down. She had no problem with Socialists. She just had a problem with the USSR. The UK Government, much like our own was infested with Socialists. The UK dismantled its empire because it was broke fighting two world wars and didn't have enough money to spend of socialist programs after the war. Hence why Chruchill was voted out and then voted back in. But by the second time the Empire was lost already. South Africa threw them under the bus as did Portugal and France. European Powers at no point recognized Rhodesia as a Sovereign State. Even when they were fighting the same problems in Africa. |
