Just saw it, damn good movie. Much better than the second one (Chronicles). |
|
I liked it a lot better than the second movie - that took a lean, spare scfi-fi thriller (Pitch Black) and turned it into a a messy pile of science-fantasy nonsense.
The third one was a lot better, even though it started with the nonsense. Back to basics...even if "Back to Basics" was more or less a rehash of the first movie. But it had a space puppy. |

The second one developed the Riddick character far more than a story like the first and third could. The third was a step back in this regard. |

I don't think this one made enough money Diesel only got it made because they wanted him bad enough in the Fast / Furious films that they cut him a deal. I think the last movie sucked; I was highly disappointed. |

Yes. +1 In fact, that is how anti-venom is made. Horses are injected with small doses of venom and they build antibodies (immunoglobulins) against it. Those antibodies are then separated from the blood, and freeze-dried for use in humans who get bit by venomous snakes. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

So in the beginning of the movie, when Riddick is attacked by the lone jackal after getting out of the water hole, he removes a belt buckle or codpiece or something and tosses it, the jackal whimpers then goes away. Didn't understand why. Didn't make any sense. Thoughts? |
