Was that the one with Orson Welles as the narrator? |

I know I was bit older than 3 but I watched that when I was very little. Saw bunnies and thought it would be fun. Scarred for life. |

When my kids were little I told them about his city cousin. "Slicky Rikki Takki".

I used to watch that one on VHS as a kid. A few years back I put it on plex so my kid could watch it. Turns out I end up watching it more often than him.

I haven’t thought about that cartoon in years.
And, yes, the snake was scary shit when you’re a kid. |

“Run and find out” bet I’ve told my son that a couple thousand times over the years!

View Quote I will fuck you up Riki Tik! And I’ll fuck your eggs up! I will erase your entire lineage Riki Tik. Try me. |

THIS IS THE STORY of the great war that Rikki-tikki-tavi fought single-handed, through the bathrooms of the big bungalow in Segowlee cantonment. Darzee, the Tailorbird, helped him, and Chuchundra, the musk-rat, who never comes out into the middle of the floor, but always creeps round by the wall, gave him advice, but Rikki-tikki did the real fighting.
If that opening line doesn't send a shiver through you, I feel sad for you. |

In about the 4th grade teacher would get Rikki Tikki Tavi for the big movie projector. Before vhs. Good times. And yes, those cobras freaked me out.
