There is a lot of AOR pattern stuff out there that has come to market, but that pack shape isn't ringing any bells for me. If he isn't embedded, its also possible that by being around SOG, BORTAC, SRT he came from somewhere that would have been issued said patterns, or just likes that pattern/equipment. That photo with the person on the left with the rifle at low ready is the one where the bat guy was almost about to attempt the room temperature challenge. Both photos however show the person with AOR2 pack with a safariland light bearing/ optic ready holster instead of the pancake kydex for the STI Staccato-P's, which I think was brought up earlier as far as the SOG using the kydex as a stand in. Lots of neat gear being shown in use though. edit: like you said, different gas mask. Its a MSA Millenium as far as I can see by having the black rubber instead of grey, unless its a second skin, but likely a Millenium. I thought it might be a First Spear pack, which they are very restrictive on selling AOR stuff, but it doesn't match anything that I am seeing yet. |

you know it's been a little weird watching the hero worship of fed tac teams that has been going on in this thread. Not exactly the norm for us. That said, if there ever was a legit use of such teams, it would be to protect federal facilities under assault from communist mobs.

Absolutely, and I've made mention of my own duality, and torn nature over this issue. TBH, that's why I'm only interested in the BORTAC/ICE side of the glow bois. Everything BP, and BORTAC do I support 1000%, and have no conflicted feelings over them. Even the USMS SOG dudes don't bother my allergies that bad. I still think the FBI, ATF, and DEA are absolutely un-American swamps full of statist assholes who hate freedom.
