Fired a shot in the ground to scare it and the 5-7 jammed, because of the dirt [that's not really visible]. So, after the shooting in Denver, I want to put at least a mini red dot on the gun to help with longer range accuracy the gun is capable of. But accessories for the 5-7 are not good supply since the gun is less common than many others. Looked at the holster and wondering how I can mod it for a big rear sight. Night sights are expensive and difficult so I did a thread a while back showing how to add a tritium vial to the front sight DIY. I have a RD rear sight, at another location, bought about 5 years ago, forget the brand, but the one that activates with motion. Will look tomorrow. Just thinking out loud and maybe others have thoughts. |

I was working on a minimalist pattern for people to sew up, and release on arfcom, but....
arfcom isn't the way it use to be, and as a lot of what I perceive as opposing opinion advocates, so I'm hesitant now on making it open to everyone it's pretty much planned out, there are still some details I have to figure out. I use to make backpacks, so I used the same techniques in designing it, but it'll need a good sewing machine. |
