Who remembers Millie Weaver who put out the video with Torre a while back trying to out some of the criminal behavior. Millie and her husband were arrested in front of their children for supposedly taking and/or smashing her mother's cell phone. Their was rampant speculation that her mother outed her to the cops for the video, etc.
Millie was vindicated as all charges have been dropped and the case was dismissed.  Millie Weaver Exonerated! All Charges Dropped & Case Dismissed |

Far too much, I'm sure. As Erin and the riot call gang can tell you, one of my biggest pet peeves is that we don't have the pro bono and NGO defense funding networks nationally that the left has. Developing those networks begin with willing rightie activists types approaching, and recruiting, conservative attorneys in their individual areas across the nation. This can then grow into regional and national networks. That requires a lot of people doing a lot of work. Not a lot of people have the time or energy to take on this project. Maybe others just don't see it as the problem that I do. Who knows? We on the right are normally very generous with our money toward worthy causes. I think that a defense network is a noble one. I have approached a couple of attorneys in my area who were receptive and provided verbal commitments to me, if they were needed. Fortunately, here in small town USA, we have had little to no trouble. |
