As a side note I hate the bolt catch release pin and the hammer spring....

Okay I haven't kept up with the electoral vote count...

I can see PA's and GA's votes getting tossed out, this is based on a few "if true and proven in court" explanations.  Can either candidate make 270 with both those states tossed?

ETA....just went to the CNN "map maker"....will need shots from liberal infection later...

Looks like Biden will only get 269 without both of those.  If SCOTUS rules both those frauded.  I see it going to the House and Senate for votes.  Not sure when this vote would happen, before or after Jan 3rd?

Maybe I am all screwed up...

I am making mashed potatoes tomorrow. I make them every few years because my recipe is dangerous.

6 to 8 lbs russet potatoes
One large container of sour cream
one stick of butter
one half a package of Philadelphia cream cheese.

Cook potatoes after peeling (duh) in water into which you have added salt to taste. A teaspoon or so. I use my palm to measure it.

Place the dairy products in a large steel serving bowl and let them soften as the potatoes boil.
Strain the potatoes and then add to bowl. Combine and mix with a handheld mixer...whip the heck out of them.
Due to potato variation they may not be creamy enough. Add heavy cream until desired consistency is achieved.

Serve immediately.

There is so much fat in these making potato pancakes is not possible with leftovers. It is a great recipe to go with deep fried
chicken tenders too...they work great as a dipping material!

Adding gravy only increases the epicness. Myocardial infarction in prone individuals can occur. High sodium+high fat+carbs galore=instant obesity.

Use with caution.

Delicious! Invented by me one evening when everyone wanted loaded baked potato and I wanted mashed. A giant hit ever since.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

The way I figure it, if I eat with the folks at normal time and leave immediately afterwards, I can be at your house in time for the evening meal with those delicious mashed potatoes, lol.

Right now the only thing my wife has to cook is the potatoes (regular and sweet) while I will be smoking the turkey.  I made the rolls and the apple pie, she made the chocolate pie and the . . . . whatever it is jello/marshmallow/whip cream 'salad'.  Most of the kids won't touch anything with beans in it, so we don't bother with those.
