People have used phrases like "fruity sewage", "hot soggy garbage" and "rancid wet dog". Often they struggle to describe the smell because it's unlike anything they've encountered before, and choose words that convey their disgust instead. Around 65% of people with coronavirus lose their sense of smell and taste and it's estimated that about 10% of those go on to develop a "qualitative olfactory dysfunction", meaning parosmia or a rarer condition, phantosmia, when you smell something that isn't there. If this is correct, up to 6.5 million of the 100 million who have had Covid-19 worldwide may now be experiencing long-covid parosmia. I saw Fruity Sewage open for Black Flag at the Whisky once. Before I had a garage, I had to park near a kumquat tree. Didn't have to drive that truck for a few weeks, in that time rats got into the HVAC system, built a nest and started storing said kumquats in there. Fruity sewage is indeed a real smell. I had to take most of the dashboard out of the truck to clean that mess of rat shit/piss/nest and rotten fruit out. To this day I get nauseous when I smell kumquats. |

At the end of that dream I resolved to speak with my wife about Wife #3 so that I could get her tacit approval, even at a distance. Two days later (having nearly forgotten about the substance of the dream) I called my wife to speak with her. Had a nice conversation. Almost ready to say goodbye I said something to the effect of, 'Hey, I have something we really need to talk about!'. She responded with, 'Okay, what?' It was at this point that I was going to broach the subject of Wife #3. Right at the moment I opened my mouth to being describing Wife #3 I realized several very important things: #1: Who the hell was Wife #2??? #2: Who the hell was Wife #3??? In rather stunned silence I sat for about 30 seconds, saying nothing. My wife prompted me for a response . . . and I realized that it was not real, just a dream. My two experience with drugs and sleep/dreams were equal and opposite to one another. About 15 years ago, I tried Zyban in an attempt to quit smoking. One of the listed side effects was vivid dreams, may reported them as horrible nightmares. Didn't have any nightmares but I had the most vivid raunchy pornographic dreams. Zero impact on my desire to smoke but I almost wanted to keep taking it for the porn dreams. As part of anti China virus supplements, melatonin is one of the suggested meds. Been taking zinc, D3, C, Quercitin and a few other things for some time so I figured I would throw the melatonin into the routine. I tried it twice. Both times I had the most utterly horrific nightmares. Shit I don't even want to talk about levels of awful. That one is a big no for me. |

Do we have a tax, investment or real estate attorney on board? I have some questions. A friend message me today for advice and I want some other thoughts from more experienced people to offer her.
Friend: Will do. I’m out of the house right now - but when we get home I’ll put specifics in it and send to you if that’s ok? CeCenrseToday at 12:11 PM Perfect Friend Today at 3:33 PM We currently have an IRA - all of it in cash. If we were to pull it from the market and use it to purchase land would we avoid any of the penalties for pulling it out early? CeCenrseToday at 4:23 PM Just asking this, but think about it. Why would you remove your actual cash and spend it for a purchase? interest rates are still relatively low (I once bought and financed a house back in the 80's at 13% interest and that was a good deal for those times, lol). Instead consider financing the purchase with a minimum down payment and as long of a term loan as possible. You can always make higher or additional payments on the principle of the loan to pay it off earlier, if you are working and solvent. You will still have your IRA nest egg to fall back on if and when the economy goes to crap from Biden. You should also be able to refinance when interest rates go lower. I would value having money, trading supplies, etc more right now. You could always utilize the IRA money later if things go south financially. I would evaluate and perhaps adjust my IRA portfolio though, as I'm not trusting things to go well with investments long term during a Biden administration. Last questions: Is this just land or does it contain a home as well. Will this be your primary residence? Do you currently own a home that you will be needing to sell? Remind me what state you live in and current real estate situation there. Friend Today at 4:30 PM Well I had a pretty good goose egg with positions in the market prior to Joe - I pulled it all out and have it stashed as “cash” right now waiting to see what we are going to do. We are a mil fam. Husby has 6 more years and the land we are looking to buy would be where we retire We sold our house in TX and are just renting for now in VA Looking to buy in OK Friend Today at 4:48 PM Full transparency- we are kinda just flirting with options |

Looking for more intel here........
****NOTE: There is a massive bombing and cyber attack underway by the Israeli's on Iranian nuclear sites supposedly as I'm typing. Tehran's air raid sirens are blaring. Sites being attacked across the country. This makes sense to me, as Israel has repeated vowed to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear bomb capacity. With Comrade Biden and John Kerry planning to resume the Iran Nuclear deal, which surely would entail more cash to Iran, it seems like Israel's best opportunity is now. Iran has been building an additional large underground nuclear facility, but I don't have the most recent intel on the progression of that location. Best to disrupt before they can complete it though. |
