Long time fan of Rob Zombie.
Here is my favorite- The Great American Nightmare

saw him here in the desert a few months ago. his voice was
gone but he decided to play instead of reschedule. could have saved $75 on ticket and ~$30 on $6 beers, not had to wait outside in the rain for ~1.5 hours and it would have sounded better on my home system. rob zombie?? naa, needs to stay gone (and stop making terrible movies too). riggs does it better w/scum of the earth anyway. –– |

I like Zombie, but man that live performance is pretty ugly.

A Rob Zombie concert ended up being the most expensive concert that I didn't attend. My wife and I had tickets to see him at the HOB in New Orleans a day before Katrina was supposed to hit. We were getting ready to fly out a few days earlier when Katrina started making news that it may enter the Gulf and head towards NO. My wife was adamant that we were going, but I had to convince her that I didn't want to take that chance. I am glad she finally listened to me. I really would have hated to be in that city at that time. We've since seen him 3 times, so it worked out. |

I'm a big fan of Rob Zombie's music and, recently, his film making prowess. I was listening to White Zombie loooong before they ever got main stream. Besides .... have you seen his wife!? Hotter Cheaper than a two dollar pistol. His movies aren't getting any better, either. I guess the viewing public has tired of jerking cameras and bad 70's lighting. I sure have. |

I had forgotten about this Clockwork Orange themed video Never Gonna Stop
Don't know why but this made me think of Broke-Dead Girls St. Louis band, never saw them, got a Extreme 104.1 Monday Night Metal cd they're on. Anybody else live in a big city that had a good variety of radio stations back in the 90s before anus(ennis) communications came in and bought them all up and fucked them all up? Here in STL we used to have heavy metal, classic rock, several country, jazz, smooth jazz, classical, pop, etc. In some cases more than one. I haven't had much reason to listen to radio since about 2002. KSHE is still around, but they've sucked since waaaay back when they canned Randy Raley. I've got a couple tapes of him back when he did Monday Night Metal in about '91. Slayer, Pantera, etc, stuff you just didn't hear on the radio back then. Sorry about the nostalgia trip, next I'll be talking about $69 skses and $69 cases of 7.62 |
