So my Ruger 10/22 trigger from Hornet came in the other day. And I installed it into my 10/22. Oh I like the 2 lbs trigger, nice... So the old trigger, I took completely apart. Of course now I can't put it back together. But I'm not worried cause I know you guys can recommend some good book I can use to learn about triggers and how to put once back together. Right guys?

What chu talking bout Willis?

Are you saying you bought an entire new trigger assembly and swapped it in your rifle?

And disassembled the old one?  Can't reassemble it?

Or what?

"""WARNING! - Do not remove the safety, leave it alone! Trying to reinstall the safety is very frustrating and time consuming...You've been warned!"""

I love that warning.  LOLs.

For REAL frustration try installing a match trigger in a Ruger mark II.  You only need 3 hands to do it.

Man I spent HOURS one day trying to get my 10/22 trigger back together.

I just kept poking at it and looking at the parts until I figured it out... can't remember how it works now though, it's been a while.

Good luck.

Assembling 10/22 trigger assy is easy once you figure out the bolt lock spring thingy.

I still have the new trigger in the 10/22 intact. It's the old one that's disassembled. ya gotta take stuff apart if ya wanna learn about 'em.

I followed the complete tear down and rebuild instructions when i got a Volquartsen hammer and bolt release, and it was very easy.

Good luck!

I've been disassembling Rugers since I was ten.....I used these things called PENCILS and PAPER.....I use them to make these things called DRAWRINGS so that I could put what I took apart back together again.  Worked like a charm.

DRAWRINGS IS YOUR FRIEND!

 Try taking a Winchester 67 bolt apart.....ewww....
