Anyone have a idea of how they pin this stock to make it fixed?  Have a friend that bought one and he was asking me if I could remove the pin and keep the stock usable.

Thanks in advance.

might be easier just to remove and replace the buffer tube assembly and then pop whatever stock you like on.

Most companies with a fixed CAR stock have a solid end buffer tube with a single tapped hole in the bottom.  The latch is replaced by a hex screw that holds the stock body on in that position and that position only.

as said above, it is better to just buy an adjustible and replace it.

you can sell the fixed one on ebay to recoup your cost on the new one.
at least that is what I did.
all the reports at least on mine, a RRA one said that they couldn't unpin it and have it work correctly.

We converted one at the shop last year. I don't remember the manufacturer, however the stock was held motionless by a roll pin drove into a blind hole. I drilled out the pin and the stock was fully functioning.
