| If you haven't seen it yet - do. Good story line and action to match. The only real movie Paul Walker has been in since Varsity Blues. |

It received terrible reviews but I liked it pretty well also. Johnny Messner is the best tough-guy actor around, and I thought the race-against-time plot was better handled and more intense than in most films of that type. Also, the kiddie-film scene was about the most disturbing thing I have ever watched. There were several big gaps in logic though, which I will not go into to prevent ruining the film for others. A decent film if you don't think too hard about it. |
Not kidding. The original "Running Scared" was about Chicago undercover cops (Crystal & Hines) out to get a drug lord (Jimmy Smitts), & was a not a bad flick for its day. |
I have seen both this one is nothng like the other plots diffrent ,no humor |
Two different movies...but the "priceless" sequence with the phone in the new one was hilarious |
Reading this thread made me put the old Running Scared on my Blockbuster queue, should be at my house tomorrow. I saw the new Running Scared, it was ok, but no where near the quality of the Hines and Cystal Running Scared. |

I liked it, I also thinks its worth seeing. Sure the shotgun blast in the first shoot scene is unrealistic but hey, its a movie what do you expect? What was the pistol that the wife kills those two sickos with? I cant figure out if its a CZ or a BHP... Or am I off totally? |
