Georgia tangent:
Protesters are not yielding the field between the enactment of the foreign agents law and the October elections. Protests continue, and some organizations pledge to defy the law (which will ultimately cause them to go extinct due to fines and ultimate arrests for non-payment). This current article indicates that there has yet to be a strong rallying figure in opposition to Georgian Dream (which was established and remains run by an oligarch). Georgia’s opposition parties have pledged to form a “pro-European” coalition in response to the new law. Svimonishvili said the antigovernment sentiment among young people does not directly translate into unwavering support for the opposition parties, as many of their leaders are tainted by connections to former President Mikheil Saakashvili. Saakashvili served as Georgia’s president from 2004 to 2013 and was arrested in October 2021 after returning to Georgia from Ukraine. He is currently serving a six-year jail sentence for “abuse of office”. “The last government was very pro-West,” Svimonishvili said, describing a sense of national “trauma” from its tenure among some young voters. |

A new Orc vehicle appeared. A miracle happened. An infantry fighting vehicle (or an infantry fighting vehicle if they attach a more powerful turret) of a heavy class (based on tank components) and with a front-engine layout left for a run from UVZ. Naturally, it is unlikely that they will be able to organize the production of such a machine within a reasonable time. |

The United States announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth $2.3 billion.
The package consists of two parts, the first $150 million will go towards weapons supplies from the Pentagon stockpile: — anti-aircraft missiles for the HAWK air defense system; — missiles for MLRS HIMARS; — shells of 155 mm and 105 mm caliber; — 81-mm mortar mines; — ATGM TOW and Javelin, RPG AT-4; — ammunition for small arms — vehicles for towing and transporting equipment; — tactical air navigation systems and auxiliary equipment for aircraft; — spare parts, other field and auxiliary equipment.
