Very interesting. Thanks as always for posting. I've been very curious about the modifications to the UA Abrams. I bet the delivery was delayed a year just to remove the 2 tons of DU armor, plus another 6 months for the new panel-labels in Ukrainian... Yeah, unfortunately there was a delay because of the armor downgrade. Also sucks to see we can't provide an export capable blue force tracker type system. That would greatly increase situational awareness. |

May have missed an earlier response. If a heavy drone hits a turtle tank with a down the throat shot (contained), would that effectively blind it?

Eastern Prussia was one of the first to experience all the «charms» of the Soviet troops ... In the farmyard stood a cart, to which naked women were nailed through their hands in a cruciform position ... Near a large inn stood a barn and to each of its two doors a naked woman was nailed through the hands, in a crucified posture.... In the dwellings, a total of 72 women, including children, and an old man, were found...all dead.... Some babies had had their heads bashed in... |

Have been curious about the UKR counter to this development, wonder if they're going to fly one of those thermostatic armed drones into the opening and split it open from the inside? Pretty sure those welds aren't ASME or API compliant Maybe something else? The treads also look to be exposed. Would think one of those turtles would be rightly fucked if they threw a tread. Either of those approaches, or whatever UKR comes up with as a counter, will force them to use more drones per turtle than on a non-turtle. |

The 205th.
Colonel Agapov and Major Murashko. A reward has already been announced for your heads among the guys from the 205th. Be afraid of those behind you. They remember everything. 2️⃣0️⃣5️⃣ https://t.me/mototroopers_205/1262 Regiment 1152. Formed in Budennovsk in October '22. Rabotino. Of the 1,700 mobilized, 900 were irretrievable losses. Picking 0. 7 months for forehead. Who will fight tomorrow? Will there be? 2️⃣0️⃣5️⃣ https://t.me/mototroopers_205/1270 Regiment 1152 20.01 Southern region of Rabotino. Hazel Mobilized soldiers in sneakers bought with their own money!!! in winter they go on an assault. Most of the group suffered frostbite on their extremities. Not everyone was able to be taken out. The regiment commander by his order forbade taking frostbitten people to the 106th hospital in Tokmak. And all because there was a report to the top about the full material strength of the personnel. How Regiment 1152 storms Rabotino on gazelles will not be shown to you at the first. But “cardboard” nonsense and reports about the “captures” of the next NP - at least every day. 2️⃣0️⃣5️⃣ https://t.me/mototroopers_205/1276 The threat of an offensive in the Kharkov direction is being created as another media campaign of intimidation. Here on the LBS, where each soldier will tell you what equipment he wears during an assault, how things are with food, where is the artillery when it is needed, and aviation, which more and more can only be seen in the movies. If everything is missing here, where there are battles every day, then where does it all come from? You can’t even imagine what will happen if the supply of the Dnepr hot water supply is stopped, even for a day. A group of troops of several tens of thousands of people is already experiencing a critical shortage of everything. What is Kharkov like? Everything that was fired for a long time near Bakhmut, Avdeevka and Chasov Yar. And above all, to strengthen new units that have no combat experience, combat battalions and regiments are taken from the front. I believe that all this is in order to once again “win” from the screen, weakening the active army. 2️⃣0️⃣5️⃣ https://t.me/mototroopers_205/1280 |

Russia said goodbye to billions of rupees stuck in India for oil
Negotiations with India over the fate of billions of rupees stuck in the country for Russian oil that lasted more than a year ended in a fiasco for the Kremlin. None of the options that Moscow promoted were ever implemented. And it was decided that the money of Russian companies will remain in India, The Hundu Businessline reports, citing a high-ranking knowledgeable source. According to him, the “stuck” revenue in rupees, which was estimated at billions of dollars, will be invested in the Indian economy. Russian banks that have opened accounts in Indian currency, including Rosbank and Gazprombank, are allowed to invest rupees in securities, as well as large investment projects. Rupees for oil continue to accumulate, but Russia is no longer trying to withdraw them from the country, a source tells Businessline. Options were considered to convert rupees into Chinese yuan or UAE dirhams, but now the Indian currency is “invested with profit,” the publication’s interlocutor said. Among the projects financed with Russian money is the construction of trains for the Vande Bharat Railways. https://t.me/moscowtimes_ru/22056 Russian regions have put infrastructure spending under the knife amid the collapse of the housing and communal services system The regions of Russia sharply reduced budget expenditures on infrastructure: in the first quarter of 2024 they fell by 22.3% compared to the same period last year. In total, in January–March the regions spent on construction, major repairs and design of utility, social , energy and transport infrastructure 253.3 billion rubles. This follows from calculations by the research company Sherpa Group, which were published by RBC. Analysts note that the decline in spending was stronger than in the first quarter of 2022, when Russia launched a war against Ukraine. Then, regional infrastructure investments fell by 14.6% by the first quarter of 2021. Analysts attribute the current reduction to the completion of many industry projects, as well as “greater uncertainty than a year ago about the state’s plans for further infrastructure development.” https://t.me/moscowtimes_ru/22059 China sharply raised tariffs on the supply of goods to Russia Trade and economic cooperation between Russia and China received another “blow”: the Chinese side sharply increased the cost of transporting goods to Russia and Belarus. Since May 6, the delivery of goods by rail has risen in price by $500–800 per container or more, depending on the departure station, forwarding companies told the transport and logistics portal Infotrans Media Belarus. According to forwarders, the increase in tariffs is associated with a decrease in the number of free containers in China, as well as with large traffic jams on the Chinese-Russian border. Simultaneously with the rise in prices for rail deliveries, sea freight rates from China have increased. The tariff increase ranged from $800–1000 to $1300–1500 per container, depending on the port of departure. https://t.me/moscowtimes_ru/22062 A group of Russian recruiters for the war in Ukraine was arrested in India Four people were arrested in India for recruiting local residents to participate in Russia's war against Ukraine, the Indian Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said. According to investigators, the attackers were looking for potential mercenaries in several states. They acted through social networks and local recruiters, offering “highly paid jobs in Russia.” Recruiters promised young people help with admission to private universities in Russia, as well as free visa extensions. Those who agreed, after arriving in Russia, were sent for military training, and then against their will - to the combat zone, the CBI notes. The key participant in the scheme turned out to be Indian citizen Nijil Joby Bensam from the state of Tamil Nadu. Before that, he worked in Russia as a translator. https://t.me/moscowtimes_ru/22069 |
