I once had to buy some throat lozenges in St. Petersburg. The street vendor spoke no english, so it was especially awkward. Anyway, pointing at objects and throwing rubles works out pretty well.

The lozenges weren't bad at all. Better than Hall's, I might say. EAT IT.
