The guy I work with is 22 and a Guard Member(E-5)he has said he was depolyed to Egypt and that is the extent of his over seas deployment!

We were talking about gun show grenades(live primers and sawed off bottoms)he then tells me that Russian grenades are shipped in the factory boxes with two rigged to blow grenades!

I ask him how do the Russians or whom ever gets them knows which ones are rigged?

He says he doesn't know!!

He also trys to tell me that he is taught at OU that Al Gore invented the internet!!

Is this just more jibberish that his young mind has been fed?

Bob

it's bullshit spread by NCOs and officer types to keep their privates from playing with potentially unstable and/or boobytrapped enemy ordnance

edit: however, Russian F1 grenades do have a zero delay option

I always thought officers were too busy playing with their privates, not the other way 'round.

I thought the F1's haven't been used in years? Didn't they switch to RGD's after WWII?
