My Kobra (gen 1) is pretty sweet. Holds zero after removing and remounting. Really sturdy. 6 month battery lifetime if always left on.
Only problem I've ever had is that if it's left on for a period of time, then when you turn it off, it remains on for some fraction of the time it was actually turned on. So if I leave it on overnight, it stays on for several minutes or an hour after I turn it off. If I leave it on for a week (say, deer season), it will stay on for a couple of days. Strange. Only way to stop it is to remove the batteries. |
