КАПИТАЛИСТОГО

Are you sure you have that word spelled correctly?

No, but kapitalist is right according to my dictionary and Google, and the -ogo/ovo (spelled ogo, pronounced ovo) is the way my grammar guide says to form adjectives from masculine nouns (which, again, my dictionary says it is). But that's kind of why I'm asking.

"We Are Capitalist" is correct
"Capitalist Revolution" is only half correct.  The "Capitalist" has wrong ending.  82ndAbn's question above is the wrong part.  Sorry but I can't type the correct form here.

How about the romanized version?

"We are capitalists" is correct.  The "Capitalist Revolution" is not.  Revolution is fine, but you need to fix the adjective.  I don't have cyrillic on my computer, so I'll just give you an idea here.  It should be spelled so that it's pronounced:

Cap - i - tal - ist - ich - es - ka - ya

You have the first part (Capitalist) spelled correctly.  But get rid of the 'ovo' ending and replace it with 'ee' - 'ch' - 'ye' - 's' - 'k' - 'a' - 'ya'.

If that doesn't make sense...sorry, I can't help you.

Here you go.  My Russian is a bit rusty (over 8 years no speakum), but this should get you close to what you're looking for:

КАПИТАЛИСТИЧЕСКАЯ РЕВОЛЮЦИЯ

Thanks much.

Out of curiousity, for what uses is the -icheskaya ending used for?

Lots of Russian nouns that are derived from words from other languages use the 'ichyeski" ending when they become adjectives.  I don't know why.  It just "feels" right.
