Amazing game. Well done for Rutgers!

Um, Rutgers has/had the #2 scoring defense in the nation...

They held the #2 ranked offense in the nation to less than 300 total yards (200 yards below their average) and held them scoreless in the second half.

Any other pearls of wisdom there Knute?

What team in the country can beat Texas [in your opinion].

Of course I don't believe any of them can [slighly jaded opinion]. Texas has the best overall team in the country.

Texas is not the same team now as they were in week 2. I don't think any team has improved as much as Texas.

Good for them.

Although I don't think the Irish would win, I'd like to see them play Texas.  Hopefully, they'll take USC like they should have last year.

You sound like a Tennessee fan in the 90's

They were certain that moving the Gator game to November would result in countless SEC titles.

Ya gotta win 'em when you play 'em

So, your plan included blocking an extra point and a field goal at the gun?

Good luck against Arkansas, cause if the Gators play like they did today, they'll really need it.

We won. 4 other one-loss teams lost. The plan is to hang on and win games.

But I agree....Arkansas will likely beat Florida....but they would also beat Oh St and Michigan.

OK, by popular demand (the wife, an alumni) I'm getting on the USC bandwagon.  Go Trojans.  All they have to do is beat Cal, Notre Dame and UCLA to stand a chance.

Gators will beat Arkansas
Arkansas will get their asses kicked by either OSU or Mich

i think if the gators win out they will be playing in the championship game
against the OSU -Mich winner

USC has to win out a bunch of tough games
The Irish cant jump over Mich
The experts say a OSU - Mich rematch is unlikely because the BCS doesnt want to make
the #1 team have to beat the same team twice.

I think if the Gators win out they should play for the title.

If USC wins out....who did they lose to? An unranked PAC 10 team? nice.

Ohio State has the 49th most difficult schedule in the nation. (per Sagarin) With Texas' loss, they have beaten zero top 10 teams.

Michigan hasn't even played any top 10 teams yet.

Either way, the Oh St/Michigan loser won't even win their conference. They haven't earned a rematch.

We can't help it that the top two teams came from the Big Ten.  Yeah, besides Ohio State defeating the #2 team in the nation (and defending national champions) they haven't really played anyone yet

According the the strength of schedule gods, the PAC 10 has the toughest schedules by far and no other conference should even be playing football....just wait until after the bowl games.  The Big Ten is weak this year but OSU/Michigan aren't.
