Yes, he clearly was defamed & libeled and THAT is going to have him saying...

Never Voted for ANY Democrat in 40 years - but You just keep right on making up that sort of bullshit!

Obviously suggesting a reasonable & logical reason that in these litigious times for Libel & Defamation cases, any real broadcaster might want to be really really really sure of the facts or at the least have Officials make their statement naming any person charged in the case before 'naming a name' is clearly "a Vast Far Left Conspiracy".  For Fucks Sake what an incredible stupidity level you have there.

Clearly you don't understand Libel / Defamation - That's O.K.  Let me explain it like I would to a 5 year or a Golden Retriever.

It costs a LOT of Money in Lawsuits & Settlement money paid to the other party when Broadcasters or Publishers go off half cocked & without actual evidence.

See:  Richard Jewell Vs. NBC News, CNN, the New York Post, and Piedmont College.

Former Atlanta Olympics Security Guard Richard Jewell was falsely accursed for being the Olympic Park Bombers himself.  Richard Jewell sued NBC News for this statement made by Tom Brokaw, "The speculation is that the FBI is close to making the case. They probably have enough to arrest him right now, probably enough to prosecute him, but you always want to have enough to convict him as well. There are still some holes in this case." Even though NBC stood by its story, the network agreed to pay Jewell $500,000. Jay Leno also apologized during a Tonight Show episode on October 28, 1996.

On July 23, 1997, Jewell sued the New York Post for $15 million in damages, contending that the paper portrayed him in articles, photographs, and an editorial cartoon as an "aberrant" person with a "bizarre employment history" who was probably guilty of the bombing. He eventually settled with the newspaper for an undisclosed amount.

Jewell filed suit against his former employer Piedmont College, its president Raymond Cleere, and college spokesman Scott Rawles. Jewell's attorneys contended that Cleere called the FBI and spoke to the Atlanta newspapers, providing them with false information on Jewell and his employment there as a security guard. Jewell's lawsuit accused Cleere of describing Jewell as a "badge-wearing zealot" who "would write epic police reports for minor infractions." The college settled for an undisclosed amount.

Or see Nick Sandman (the Maga Hat Kid) Vs. Washington Post, CNN, NBC.

The Washington Post
Sandmann's family retained lawyers who, in February 2019, filed a US$250 million defamation lawsuit on behalf of Sandmann against The Washington Post. The suit accuses the Post of publishing seven "false and defamatory articles". The complaint alleged that the Post wanted to lead a "mainstream and social media mob of bullies which attacked, vilified, and threatened" Sandmann, that the Post wrongfully targeted and bullied Sandmann "because he was the white, Catholic student wearing a red 'Make America Great Again' souvenir cap on a school field trip" and that the Post "knew and intended that its allegedly defamatory accusations would be republished by others." A spokeswoman for The Washington Post announced that the paper would defend itself against the lawsuit.
On July 24, 2020, The Washington Post settled the lawsuit with Sandmann. The terms of the settlement have not been made public.

CNN
Sandmann's lawyers filed a second lawsuit on his behalf against CNN on March 12, 2019, seeking US$275 million in damages,[56] for allegedly "vicious" and "direct attacks" towards Sandmann. On January 7, 2020, the lawsuit was settled. The terms of the settlement have not been made public.

NBCUniversal
A third lawsuit was filed on May 1, 2019, seeking US$275 million defamation lawsuit on behalf of Sandmann against NBCUniversal. On November 22, 2019, a judge rejected NBC's attempt to dismiss the lawsuit against it. The lawsuit was settled on December 17, 2021, with Sandmann stating that the terms of the settlement were confidential.

But let's not be the least bit Reasonable nor Responsible to actually see the investigation evidence or any actual charges before Raging

Besides - as I pointed out - the Overturn of Roe Vs. Wade is old news by this point, as the Official SCOTUS Ruling came out well before the Mid Term.  So whatever "fall out" it has in this election cycle was already out there in the air.

In fact, it might turn out to have been beneficial for Conservatives.   The longer after any "earthquake", the more time it has to sink in & has had time to fade the less most people care.   We gun owners see this after every mass school shooting.   Idiots rage that "Evil Assault Rifles must be banned" but as weeks and months pass, the urgency & outrage is eroded by other news & stories and the issue fades into the background noise.

the Investigation has been underway since the leak occurred and the eventual results will be public knowledge when the investigation has reached the stage where there is ample evidence enough to support the acquisition made & appropriate Charges are filed.   In the meanwhile - while lacking actual evidence or official charges, it seems a few of "The Usual Suspects" in good old G.D. just can't wait to go all '88' and rant & rail about "Indians".

Your Point is there isn't anything solid enough to use yet.   Evidently, there still is not yet enough EVIDENCE for him to be charged or even named in the investigation.   But do you care about any of that at all? Until he is Charged or Officially NAMED in the Investigation - it is pretty irresponsible for media (other than bullshit internet fringe sites) to name him as "The Suspect!" unless they actually have some hard evidence to back up that claim - instead people go all Herping & Derping because of some stupid internet blog bullshit claiming "It's All Being HIDDEN!!!"

Let's get to the Million Dollar Question:

Can you name the difference in the effect on the Mid-Term Elections between it being "leaked" in May 2022, Vs the Final Decision of Dobbs Vs. Jackson officially published on June 24, 2022 ?

Sure the left ranted & raged - but "DUHHHHH!!!" the left were already certainly going to do THAT anyway.

I'd argue that the "leak" was actually an unintended benefit FOR Conservatives in these MidTerms.   Why do you say something so Clearly ...  ...  "leftist!! ...

When something BIG like this hits - It's all over the news & airwaves & becomes THE Subject of discussion.  That it did!

But the longer it has been out - the more it fades into the background.  I'm not sure if two months of the leak helped the left at all - in fact I think it's pretty clear that the early leak has actually let some of the 'fire' die down as Americans focus on other things like fuel prices, food prices, inflation & other everyday matters.

In this - it HELPS Conservatives in the Mid Term (unintentionally but it does Help us!) by ripping off the painful bandaid two months early to let the surprise OUCH!! fade away by the time elections are here.

If you have any intelligent response to the contrary - please feel free to share same along with the logic & reasoning to support your response.

I'm sorry - I keep forgetting that a Tennessee "Professor" is the equivalent of about a 10th grader here in Texas.

I'll use fewer & simpler words for You:

(A) No Actual Evidence or Charges (yet) = Foolish decision with very expensive costs to make wild & baseless claims (see "Alex Jones" )

(B) The Early "Leak" actually HELPED Conservatives in the MidTerms - it was two months for the "fire & steam" of the Official Dobbs Decision to fade away & other more pressing realities like Inflation (Food & Fuel costs) to regain focus as matters most important to most people.

You previously posted a list of multiple instances where the MSM didn't give 2 shits & a dick about liability when the targets were actual or perceived MAGA card carriers. Why should I believe they have a brain now? Are you implying the totality of all that financial damage has finally sunk in?

The DOJ has no credibility. It's a foregone conclusion that any pursuit of "justice" on its part - concerning this or any other matter - is farcical theater.

Being Frequently Kicked in the Ass (Financially for Millions of Dollars at a time)  does has the effect of "teaching" even idiots (even some of those in the Media) NOT to continue to do certain stupid things again and again because the end result is very painful.

Whoever the "Leaker" was of the SCOTUS Decision, is going to eventually be charged & identified by the SCOTUS investigation. That was a huge breech of SCOTUS procedures & tradition. The leaker trashed any possible legal career with that stunt.

Ironically, the "Leaker" didn't accomplish anything for Liberals, except to help give time to dissipate the earthquake like shock of the Dobbs ruling - which actually HELPED conservatives in the Mid Terms.

The investigation is (was?) being led by the Marshal of the Court.

There were numerous, fawning news articles last Spring about her, a former Army officer, and how thorough and capable she is. Maybe she isn’t all that, after all.

The leaker, this guy maybe but there were also rumors about a woman who also clerks for Sotamayor and has media buddies, is hiding like a rat.

If you’re such a fanatic about your cause, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t stand up and be proud of your actions. Certainly would mean losing your clerkship, but you wouldn’t go to jail for this, and you’d almost certainly get offered a job by CNN. Half the country would call you a hero.

I’ll bet that witch Sotamayor knew all about this.

Not worth getting mad about.

He showed how absurdly left wing Yale law has become (as if it was unknown).

He helped us indirectly by letting the fury over this come out early and softened the impact down the road. Despite what a few complete retards will bomb every thread over, abortion is not a vote driving issue for any substantial portion of the public... and even less so with a few months to dampen it. Most people who are single issue abortion were not about to vote (R).

He has one of the most punchable faces in the history of mankind. Seriously, tight competition with Obamacare coffee and Pjs soyboy of advertising fame. He was destined for faggotry from birth and he must carry that burden until his dying day.

The integrity of the court has been destroyed since we stopped appointing on merit and started turning it into an affirmative action representation celebration.

Did you know who it was? I hadn't heard his name until today. Strange that the Identify of the Dobbs VS Jackson Women's Health Decision is being withheld by the media yet it's been know since May.

Corporate media is protecting the identity of the prime suspect in the SCOTUS leak scandal by pretending they don't know his name.
For six months corporate media has been gaslighting the American people about the identity of the individual who is suspected of leaking the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization draft decision. Hours after Politico published it the identity of the alleged leaker had spread like wildfire throughout Washington but corporate media universally decided not to report they had decided to protect the identity of the leaker. In fact, over the past six months, they have published story after story speculating about the identity of the leaker without ever mentioning the one name that they believe is the alleged leaker.

Who is Amit Jain? Social Media 'Identifies' Clerk Behind Supreme Court Abortion Law Leak; Investigation On
published May 4th
Though the identity of the SCOTUS leaker was not released by the authorities, a section of social media users suggested that it a Supreme Court clerk named Amit Jain who was behind the historic leak.

The speculation gained momentum after Matt Wolking, a Republican advisor and strategist, suggested Jain's name as the person responsible for the leak. "A person called Amit Jain clerks for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. As a Yale student, Jain blasted Yale for supporting Brett Kavanaugh's nomination. Jain was quoted in a 2017 Politico piece by Josh Gerstein. Today, Gerstein published the draft SCOTUS opinion on Roe," read the tweet.

Because it goes higher than that? the clerk was the device to release it. There may have been a person or three finding a way to get the message out despite the rules and regulations restricting them from doing it. Under penalty of criminal charge IIRC. LOL!   Literal LOL!!

Because it goes higher than that? the clerk was the device to release it. There may have been a person or three finding a way to get the message out despite the rules and regulations restricting them from doing it. Under penalty of criminal charge IIRC. It's literally a huge transgression to do this...

That’s my point. A justice told him to leak it. If he’s known to be the leaker, it will be found out who ordered the leak. Ie the actual leaker.

Maybe the  Media wants to be SURE of what they are "claiming" BEFORE publication & broadcasting an "Allegation" naming a specific person ...

Something something something Defamation Lawsuit something something something...

Besides - nothing going to change as the Leak is already Old News - what will matter is if the Supreme Court & Justice Department can confirm the "allegation" and then bring whatever charges are appropriate against that person(s).

It’s not “known”. There’s speculation. The Chief Justice is protecting whoever it is. Which leads me to believe it’s NOT who the speculation is about.

Why would he protect some staffer or clerk?

Because Roberts is the same weasely bastard who saved Obama care by ruling a penalty is really a tax.

Because Roberts is the same weasely bastard who makes FISA appointments. You might remember the FISA court, they let the FBI spy on a sitting president.

Also because Roberts is the same weasely bastard they needed to tone way down heller to get him to concur.

Roberts is a log cabin the government is always right type Republican.

When you can't win on the Facts, Logic or Reason, the G.D. "tough guy" solution these days is to stuff their heads...   deeply  ... Up their  (For C.O.C. reasons)  ...       in the sand...

Just pathetic what my fellow so called "Tough Conservatives" have become on ARFCOM

My ignore list = 0 ...     Because putting someone on "ignore" doesn't stop them from posting, nor for others to see & read their posts.   Y'all "Tough Guys" just clearly don't understand "ignore"

I would never ignore some of the posters I don't agree with on ARFCOM - mainly because so many of their crazy posts are a never ending source of laughter.

But I digress.

I still have yet to see a single response explaining exactly how the early leak HELPED the Democrat Leftists in the Mid-Terms (since the Dobbs ruling came out shortly after the leak).

Sure the Democrats were pissed - but they were going to be JUST as pissed AFTER the announcement when the "official" Dobbs decision was announces shortly afterwards. .

By letting the surprise out too early, it actually helps Conservatives at the Polls in this mid term by allowing the energy & outrage drain away and more pressing economic matters to return to the front of Voters concerns.  Abortion which was high in many battleground states, has fallen far down the list of voting concerns (and it was going to be ON the list anyway due to the Dobbs Decision).

And for those of you who say "Punish someone!!"   The Leaker (when found) will have their career ruined - Rest Assured because someone does who gets charged & arrested for the SCOTUS leak - isn't likely to become a lawyer with a criminal conviction directly related to said legal work while there at SCOTUS.

Maybe I should clarify: Investigative efforts would seem to pivot heavily on political leanings of the subject(s) being scrutinized. Being on the wrong team is what gets the eye, while being team players get a pass. If this circumstance was politically opposite, torches would be lit.

Well stated!

There are always calls that the party out of power is being discriminated against - and in fact there are numerous incidents of such like the IRS under Obamas pick Lois Lehrner going after Tea Party Members that can show the truth to some such claims.  However the SCOTUS has always prided itself as being Above Politics (Please hold your laughter for a bit later! ).  Every Decision of the SCOTUS has some political effect (otherwise it wouldn't have reached them to decide the case & clarify the law(s) or Constitutional principles associated with the case).  If those cases & the ramifications wasn't a "Big Deal" then SCOTUS hearings would be quiet & quite boring affairs over in a day...

This Leak / Breach was such an huge & egregious stain on the Supreme Court, that by being so off the scale blatant & outside the bounds it HAS to be investigated & someone(s) is going to catch hell for their part(s) in it - especially as the Republicans win big this November & I guarantee WILL call hearings on the matter.  It may take a few more months, but the case most certainly is NOT going to fade away into nothing.

My opinion is that "naming & blaming" any suspect without sufficient evidence could every well hinder the criminal case instead of advance it to a conviction.
