There may have been a thread about this already, but I couldn't find it, so here we go. The SEC Championship is tomorrow LSU vs UT, who do you think is gonna win? ETA: As you may have noticed, I am biased. |

Did you see Pat Buchannan on "Hardball" last night? Chris Matthews asked him, if he was on the rack and his arms were being torn off and the torturer asked him who he would vote for- Hillary or Obama, what would he say? If UM weren't going after LSU Coach Miles fast & hard, I'd say LSU, easily by 2-3 TD's. However, with that bit of distraction coupled with LSU's loss to Arkansas knocking them out of #1, LSU may be a bit goodly distracted.  This game is a perfect example of why *I* never bet on sports..............

There's an old joke in Nashville about Vandy football:
 I have season tickets to the Vandy women's b-ball games. They beat Duke last Wed night I could NOT believe at how LOW the student turn-out was for this game! Apathy/indifference doesn't seem to describe a typical Vandy student, IMO.

The funny thing is, some retards here actually believe that will happen. Reading the LSU message boards the past few days has been entertaining to say the least. All sorts of crackpot conspiracy theories.

Okay, another Vandy football joke for ya (please forgive me if I don't get the wording perfect... I heard it about 25 years ago): This guy goes to a Vandy game and notices a guy sitting near him who has a parrot on his shoulder. He thinks "that's a bit strange, but what the hell"... so later on during the 4th quarter vandy actually manages to make a touchdown and the parrot just starts going nuts and spouting all sorts of obscenities, etc... So when the parrot starts to calm down, the guy reaches over and taps the owner of the parrot on his shoulder and says "Wow, your parrot really hates Vandy, doesn't he? And the owner says "Yep. He's been like that ever since I bought him". So the first guy says, "Well, if he gets that pissed about vandy making a touchdown, what does he do when they win a game?"... The owner answers, "Hell, I wish I could tell ya, but I don't know... I've only owned him ten years". - Edited to add: GO VOLS!!! |
Ainge didn't drop the 4th down pass late in the 4th Qtr deep in LSU territory. Hell, UT wouldn't have made the Championship Game if he hadn't been the QB this year, IMO. Look at what's-his-name who transferred to Ole Miss. He can't throw it into the ocean. Ainge is no Peyton, but he's no Jeff Sanders either, IMO.
