Start the youtube video at 4:50 to jump to the discharge. Cop got shot, hands no where near her holster. Fuck you @SIGUSA! Sig Sauer Shoots Another Cop Ceres PD FB link of AD. Statement from Ceres PD. Ceres, CA- On June 24, 2025, at approximately 12:50 p.m., a Ceres Police Department School Resource Officer (SRO) was injured when her department-approved firearm discharged while holstered in the parking lot of Blaker-Kinser Junior High School, located at 1601 Kinser Road in Ceres. The officer involved in the incident has been identified as Officer Salin Chrim, a sworn member of the department assigned as a School Resource Officer. At the time of the incident, summer school had concluded for the day, and only a limited number of students and staff remained on campus. Officer Chrim was not interacting with any students when the firearm discharged. Officer Chrim sustained a non-life-threatening injury to her leg and was immediately transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. No other individuals were injured. The firearm involved in the incident was a Sig Sauer P320, carried in a department-approved holster. Preliminary review has determined that both the firearm and holster were compatible and compliant with current Ceres Police Department policy. The discharge is being investigated as an uncommanded discharge, as the firearm was securely holstered and not being manipulated by Officer Chrim at the time of its discharge. In accordance with department procedures, the firearm and holster will be submitted to the California Department of Justice for full inspection and evaluation to determine the cause of the discharge and ensure the continued safety of our officers and community. |

In before the P320ophiles and Sig Sauer say she had a loose strap on the back pack, that worked its way into her Safariland holster, and pulled the trigger of the P320 she was wearing, when she removed the back pack from her shoulder,,,, something to that effect. Jay |
| As a Machinist and Mechanical Engineer. These guns go off by themselves because they use a pre cocked striker making the trigger pull lighter and dont have enough sear engagement and just jiggling the damn thing makes it go off. There is a reason Glock pistols are so safe. They require a long trigger pull to physcially pull back the striker to a designated point building up enough spring tension to fire the primer. These P320s I said from the beginning are going to be a problem. Some General at the Pentagon got kick backs from SIG to adopt this garbage pistol. |

We didn't have iPhone's with SLR spec cameras, YouTube or Social Media like we have today. In 2020 a lot of new cops were hired that took lower wages during COVID. New officers + Single Action Striker fired pistol w/no external safety's = all bad. It seems like the lack of any trigger safety is the cause of the majority of these incidents. I remember the takedown lever video but haven't heard much since. That was the only thing I've seen that could bypass the firing block safety but you'd have to (either get a wrong one from the factory) or put your .45/10mm's takedown lever in a 9mm 320 and assemble it like a Glock. I don't see how anyone can buy a 320 at this point but I've yet to see a clear cut case of the gun just going off. |

Will probably sell the MPX and get a JP5. Everytime I hear about one of these NDs I get excited for the next Ben Stoeger video. |

I was at a gun store the other day looking at a bad ass P320 some special edition with 22round mags, flat trigger, ported and Trijicon RMR already installed brand new. It was nice. But the guy I was talking to was a young guy and hes like these 320s are awesome.....LOL. I said until you jiggle your holster and shoot yourself in the dick or in the femur or femoral artery. He looked down and said......."I mean $11million lawsuit.......I could use the money" |

Though I do have to ask: Why do these youtube video's always take 5 seconds of content and turn it into 15 minutes? Keep in mind, most of them are making money off these video's. The video has to last a certain length (10 minutes? 15? something like that.) in order to even be qualified for monetization. Also why a lot of mash up videos are that length, you already have a bunch of clips and you put 30 of them in a 15 minute video with some breaks for you talking and there you go. And yes, Sig fucking sucks not coming out by now and taking responsibility. I've always wanted a 226 but no way am I paying sig for one now. |

Some General, whose never been combat arms and never even had to carry or use a rifle is making these decisions. Pete Hegseth needs to shut that bullshit down. The ammo is heavier and you need to carry more of it. I think combat load out currently is 210 rounds. But many guys dont wanna have to carry 180 rounds that are a bit heavier. Well DOGE needs to look at payoffs and some of these generals need to be looked at. Corruption is a bitch and when our guys go into the next war with a weapon thats a failure the generals or general who approved the new rifle should be charged with criminal negligence. |
