it's a meter of snow outside. The local authorities fail to remove it on bikepaths and pavements, I'm considering to start skiing to work instead of riding my bike.

Crap!!  I did not even think about getting stuck in my house for 8-10 hours with only enough food/drink  for 5-6 days.

I am hittin' the Quickie Mart to stock up....

Yeah, the "flurries" we had here today stacked up more than the "1-3 inches" forcasted yesterday.  I woke up yesterday to find only a wet puddle in front of my house on the driveway.

The first flurries are down here, about 40 mi west.  We're expecting 8-10", but it's supposed to start slow and really come down later tonight.

This winter's been fairly mild so far.  We almost deserve a good nasty storm

Got about two inches here so far.  Supposed to get about 8-10 more.  Pretty bad storm to reach all the way down to Alabama.

I have a possible upcoming job in your state, and I'm considering relocating to someplace other than snow country. Snow in Alabama? Maybe I'll look more toward Arizona.

That being said, we haven't been hit too hard in this area (Buffalo vicinity) this season... yet.
I guess it's your turn.
