SARCO is supposed to have Colt A1 parts kits (less barrel and lower).  Don't know the price or if they are even available yet.  NoDak Spud has correct lowers for an A1 build.  Also check the Retro sub-forum for sources.

Nodak Spud, an industry partner here, makes replica lowers and uppers, and also has a list of dealers who carry parts kits.

I do, but you can't have them...

The only real bastard about A1s is the non tapered handguard retainer.  A real bastard to hold back with oily hands...

I bought one just like that off of GB this past winter for $950

I don't think you could accurately build a clone for that much.

OP, just keep an eye out for an original Colt SP1 and buy one.

Did you just duracoat over the chrome outside barrels? Does teh 3 prog flash hider just screw on?

That barrel is a CMMG that was finished from the factory. That 3-prong flash hider does screw on, standard threads.
