Arthur: Oh, would you look at this. How many times have I told you about the toothpaste?
The Tick: I know what toothpaste is.
Arthur: When you leave the cap off the toothpaste the toothpaste gets hard and you can't get it out.
The Tick: Doesn't do that for me.
Arthur: That's because by the time you get the toothpaste, I've already cleaned it and put the cap back on!
The Tick: Well, good gravy! We are a well-oiled machine!

The Tick: Well, let's not keep her waiting. She'll only perspire and alarm the neighborhood cats.

I loved the comic and the cartoon.  I don't think it translates well to live-action.

I have both the cartoon and the live-action DVDs on my Blockbuster @ Home waiting list to eventually show them to my son, I think he'll get a big kick out of them (I always did).

Certain things would be problematic on national TV.  For example, the comic scene where there was a superhero convention and Arthur was stuck with other pubescent boy sidekicks drinking YooHoo.  While discussing their respective superhero, one said "Pouting red lips seem to be very important to them."

That's not going to fly.
