Why not use "call-outs".  Why do they insist on going in and shooting the place up.  You know, like knock on the door, get on a megaphone and and ask that the person comes out?  It's probably saved quite a few lives in Iraq.

I know some will say because they can destroy evidence but in some cases, it would probably save a lot of lives of people trying to protect their families.

Also, what if they start shooting?  What if they take their family members hostage?   What if they kill everyone in the home and then go out with a suicide by cop scenario? What if they escape the ring of police,, carjack a woman and blow her husband's head off when the husband tries to stop him?

All the above has occurred locally and probably in other places as well.

Three guesses who the experts in GD will blame for those examples.
